So I went to visit the recent planned community from Linden Labs, Nautilus. I must say it is beautiful and has this old world feel to it. The homes I walked around had very nice roof tops and the view was surreal. What will become of this project once the residents settle in? I hope it will only be utilized and not what seems abandoned like Bay City, which was a ghost town last night. So please check it out and enjoy. :)

I actually sent a notecard to Blue Linden suggesting that they place a Welcome Area at both Bay City and Nautilus for newbies to tp to directly from their Help Islands. And why not? That would increase new resident awareness of just what SL can be as far as providing a rich visual experience and also it could be a nice hangout that residents return to again and again. Think if we could transfer the kind of numbers we see at Ahern of avatars mulling around to the parks at Bay City. That would be a genuine increase in traffic for shop owners and clubs and make that area a true community.
